Absolute Aromas began in 1994, when David and Kay Tomlinson started bottling pure essential oils from a small unit in Hampshire. Thirty years on we are still here, still family-run and still in Hampshire, though the range has grown and the laboratory has become the heart of everything we do.
Our products have become a staple for skilled therapists and aromatherapy enthusiasts around the world, which is a quiet source of pride for all of us. We have never wanted to be the biggest. We have always wanted to be the one a professional reaches for without a second thought.
When Kay and I started out, we made a simple promise: that whatever left our door would be exactly what the label said it was. That promise is why we built our own laboratory, and it is why I still care as much about a single bottle of lavender today as I did thirty years ago.
