Bergamot is one of the brightest and most loved of the citrus oils, cold pressed from the peel of the fruit grown in southern Italy. Its fresh, sweet aroma carries a soft floral edge that sets it apart from sharper citrus oils.

How to use

Always dilute in a carrier oil before applying to the skin. As a citrus oil, bergamot is photosensitive, so keep treated skin out of direct sunlight. For diffusing, add four to eight drops to a water-filled ultrasonic diffuser. See the safety information below for the dilution rate and full guidance.

Delivery and returns

Bergamot is believed to lift the spirits and ease everyday tension, which is why it sits at the heart of so many calming blends. It pairs beautifully with lavender and frankincense, and brings a fresh, optimistic note to a diffuser blend on a grey morning.
